It seems these days there is, at any big race in the upper midwest any one of 6 different racers that are in contention to win. Great effort to be &quot;the man&quot; at The Ore to Shore. I know you always put your best effort forward. It had to be a great feeling. Good recap of the race.

I am looking forward to the altitude experience that you are involved in. Jeff and I learned a bunch from the Europeans back in our early days of National and World Cup racing back in the 1990s. The fact that they could come over and race at altitude and not seem to feel the effects of high altitude. Their answer was crazy simple. Do not go up to high altitude till the day of the event. Think of a 8-10 hour window. Sleep low, ride high, go back low, repeat. Or acclimate for 3 weeks, riding and training at altitude, we did both options through the years...I kinda like the idea of the long term training you are doing. It sounds like a good time living &amp; riding in the mountains. Mike H</description>
